This year B.E.S.T. Innovation Course goes global!

On-site Weeks will be host by IRCAD France, IRCAD Taiwan and, for the first time ever, IRCAD America Latina (Unit Barretos). Plenty of choices to join the house of surgical innovation!

IRCAD, world known leading center for minimally invasive surgery training and research, together with IHU, a cutting edge institute dedicated to image-guided surgery, are launching the fifth edition of BEST Innovation Course, an unprecedented program that combines surgery, entrepreneurship and engineering, encouraging students to throw away the rule book and rise to the challenge.

Positioned at the cutting-edge of MIS and entrepreneurship, BEST has the unique capacity to challenge, inspire and unlock the potential of a new generation of med-tech leaders. Casting off the constraints of conventional, single disciplinary study, the course is all about experimentation, testing and learning together.
The 5 days on-site boot camp is designed for the students to fully immerse in the IRCAD-IHU philosophy of innovation and provides exposure to the latest developments in MIS techniques and technologies, while interacting with top international experts.

The entirely free of charge program is designed with students’ interests at the core, offering a 1 to 1 student to faculty ratio and the change to compete and win our innovation challenge.

Building on the success of the previous French editions, BEST On-site Weeks will be once-again held also in the truly unique, beautiful and enchanting country of Taiwan and, for the first time ever, in Barretos, Brasil, home of our Latin American sister institution.
